Southfield Apartment Tenant Faces Eviction Over Roach Dispute
A tenant in Southfield is facing eviction due to a dispute over a roach infestation in her apartment at the Carlyle Tower Apartments, located near 9 Mile and Greenfield.
"So now the roaches are back," said LaShawn Bowens. "They started coming back in September. Ever since pest control has been out they’ve been increased activity."
Despite the tenant's complaints, management's efforts to address the issue, including sending an exterminator to put sticky traps in her apartment, have not resolved the problem.
The tenant, LaShawn Bowens, reported that the roaches have been present since early this year, and their activity increased after pest control visited.
