The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has finished its probe into the administrative case against cops allegedly involved in the disappearances of sabungeros (cockfight enthusiasts).
According to NAPOLCOM Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer Ralph Calinisan, the commission is waiting for the Department of Justice (DOJ) resolution before releasing its decision.
"The draft is already on our table. We are sitting down to deliberate and release it because we are precisely waiting for the DOJ resolution."
Calinisan added that they need to consider the possibility of a dismissal verdict and its implications:
"What if our verdict is dismissal? Where will we look for them, where will we serve the warrants of arrest for them?"
NAPOLCOM is awaiting the DOJ resolution to proceed with its decision.
