Power Shutdowns Scheduled Across Kashmir in Multiple Areas
The Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across various parts of Jammu Kashmir to facilitate maintenance and ensure uninterrupted power supply in the long term.
- A shutdown of the 33 KV Pampore-Pulwama line will affect Newa, Kakapora, and LIS Marvel Stage I–IV receiving stations.
- Power supply to Kakapora, Pahoo, Nehama, Kakapora Railway, Newa, Gadoora, Zadoora, Parigam, Narbal, and adjoining areas will be suspended from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM on 30 October, and November 2, 6, and 10, 2025.
