Two men in Nova Scotia, Mark Rankin and Grant Cameron, rescued three stranded pilot whales on a beach.
Time was running out when they arrived, as low tide was quickly approaching after the whales were found stranded at 9 a.m.
"We stripped down to our briefs and did the best we could,"
Rankin told CTV News, explaining that they had to get into the water to save the whales, making it necessary to remove their winter clothes.
The Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans had been called, but the men weren't sure they would arrive in time, so they took action.
