A recent grand opening of the Summer Street Apartments, developed by Crossroads Rhode Island and its partners, marked a significant achievement in providing 176 apartments of permanent supportive housing to the Providence community.
These apartments are a direct result of Crossroads’ commitment to a Housing First strategy.
Crossroads Rhode Island, formerly known as Travelers Aid, has been serving Rhode Island’s homeless population since 1894.
The organization's CEO and President, Michelle Wilcox, and her team, including Chief Asset Manager Gordon Fox, demonstrated kindness, imagination, resourcefulness, and steadfastness in their work.
