Virgin Atlantic to Develop Bespoke English Sparkling Wine
Virgin Atlantic is partnering with Hambledon Wine Estate to create a signature English sparkling wine.
The wine, harvested in 2025, will be served onboard from 2029, following a maturation period.
- The partnership began in 2019, with Virgin Atlantic serving Hambledon Classic Cuvée in Upper Class.
- The wine's popularity led to its inclusion alongside Champagne in the airline's premium drinks selection.
The bespoke blend is designed to capture the character of English terroir while performing perfectly at high altitude.
