San Luis Obispo County has opened a new public safety communications center, celebrating with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The 20,193 square foot center, located in Templeton, will house emergency dispatch services for the County Sheriff's Office and Fire Department under one roof.
The new center replaces two outdated facilities, improving efficiency for both departments.
The new building will greatly enhance and streamline emergency responses.
