Attendo AB Files Claim Against City of Västerås
Attendo AB has filed a claim against the city of Västerås due to the incorrect termination of a home care contract earlier this year.
According to Attendo, the city had no basis for terminating the agreement. Preliminary investigations initiated by a police report made by the city have been closed.
In June 2025, Attendo investigated the city's grounds for revocation, which included allegations of systematic misregistration, and found the city's conclusions to be incorrect.
We are proud of the home care we provided in the city for 25 years, and our many employees delivered high-quality care throughout the years, with very satisfied customers. It is regrettable that Västerås has acted so negligently towards its residents.
