RISD Pre-Orientation Program Supports First-Generation Students
The First Generation College Student Pre-Orientation Program (FGC POP) has been recognized for dramatically changing the landscape for first-generation students.
Modeled on the EFS curriculum, this one-semester program for first-year students is a unique, immersive option for students beginning their RISD journey.
The inaugural cohort of students to participate in RISD’s First Generation College Student Pre-Orientation Program (FGC POP) graduated in May after benefitting from the program’s opportunities.
