Residents in the Southeast are taking to social media to express their concerns about petty crime, with a particular focus on bicycle thefts.
According to Steinbach RCMP community constable, Dennis Redikop, these incidents are on the rise, with a slight increase compared to last year, although exact figures for this year are not yet available.

- Buying a high-quality, durable bike lock
- Locking the bike through the frame, rather than the wheel, for added protection
