A powerful coastal storm is expected to bring major flooding and wind gusts of up to 60 mph to the Philadelphia region, prompting New Jersey to declare a state of emergency.
According to forecasters, the storm will last through Monday, with heavy rains and gusts expected in Philly.
“It’s going to be bad,”said Paul Fitzsimmons, a lead meteorologist at the National Weather Service Office in Mount Holly,
“It’s going to be a nasty, stormy ‘nor’easter’ ... lasting right into Monday.”
