A decision on the next step for Nepotism is expected soon, according to co-trainer Wayne Hawkes.
Speaking on SEN Track's Giddy Up program, Hawkes said the stable is considering four options after Nepotism's seventh-placed finish in the Guineas.
"Do we run in the Cox Plate, do we run in the AAMI Vase, do we go to the Spring Champion or do we go to the paddock? Every one of those, in theory, is alive,"
Hawkes noted that Nepotism has recovered well after leaving some feed behind following the race.
Author's summary: Nepotism's next move to be decided soon. The decision will be based on the horse's recovery.
