Multiple Arrests in Navy Yard on Halloween Night
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) made several arrests on Friday night after a group caused a disturbance in Navy Yard, according to officials.
A disorderly group prompted multiple police cars to block off streets on M Street and 1st Street, and a large group was seen fleeing from the police.
- Police blocked M Street from 1st to 3rd Street, SE
- New Jersey Avenue was closed south of L Street, SE
At around 11 p.m., the group had dispersed, and police maintained a presence in the area with additional officers and road closures in place.
