Kashmir's Mushq Budji at Int'l Trade Fair
Kashmir's iconic Geographical Indication (GI) tagged Mushq Budji rice was featured at an international rice trade event in New Delhi.
It was showcased alongside premium-quality traditional aromatic rice varieties such as Kalanamak, Gobindobhog, Jeerakasala, Chakhao, Katarni from India, and Khao Tai from other countries.
SKUAST-K initiated the launch of Mushq Budji rice at the event.
This marks a leap towards global markets for the rice variety.
