Unfulfilled Promise: The Best Character Tease in the MCU
Eight years after the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, Marvel Studios still hasn't paid off a brilliant character tease from the MCU's Phase 3.
The movie, which debuted in 2017, took everything away from Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and trapped him on the garbage planet of Sakaar, where he reunited with Bruce Banner's Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), the champion of the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), Sakaar's tyrannical leader.
One of the most exciting teases was delivered in Thor: Ragnarok, confirming the existence of one of Marvel's best heroes, but unfortunately, it didn't mark the character's debut.
Marvel Studios has teased live-action versions of many of Marvel Comics’ most iconic characters who haven’t yet appeared in the MCU.
