Elections Yukon Counting Process
In the 2025 territorial elections, electors will receive two distinguishable ballots, separated by perforation.
According to Chief Electoral Officer Maxwell Harvey, one ballot will list electoral districts and candidates, while the other will contain a plebiscite question with yes or no options.
- Regular ballot: lists electoral district and candidates in ballot order
- Plebiscite ballot: same size, different design, with blue stripe and clear marking
Neither of the ballots themselves contain information identifying the voter.
The two ballots will be separated for electors at the polls to maintain vote secrecy.
