Newcastle's Christmas Lights Switch On Event
The countdown to Christmas begins with Newcastle's lights switch on event, hosted by Steve Furnell and Karen Oxley, on Grainger Street, Thursday, November 6.
Events start at 6pm with activities like songs, games, live music, and a special visit from Santa before the big reveal at 7pm.
The Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Coun Henry Gallagher said: "Our city is a magical place, at Christmas more than ever, and we have some amazing things planned right across the festive season."
