Weather Alert: Yellow Rain Warning in Place
Motorists are warned to take care as visibility is expected to be poor on the roads in the west due to a status yellow warning for rain.
The warning is in place for Galway, Mayo, Clare, and Kerry until 8 o'clock tonight, with persistent rain and heavy downpours expected, leading to difficult traveling conditions.
RSA spokesperson Aoibhinn Smith stresses the importance of checking your tyres.
