paths are a "danger to the public"
Independent South-Mayo Councillor Patsy O’Brien raised this issue at a recent meeting of the Claremorris-Swinford Municipal District, where it was agreed that an application would be made to Transport Infrastructure Ireland. However, council officials have indicated that the application will only be submitted next year.
Cllr O’Brien expressed his concerns to Midwest Radio, stating that he believes towns in the eastern part of the country receive more funding than those in the west.
