Ex-F1 star Jean Alesi is parting ways with one of the most cherished pieces of his Formula 1 career, putting his 1992 Ferrari F92A up for sale.
Presented by Ferrari to Alesi after the end of the 1992 season, chassis No136 will be auctioned by Artcurial Motorcars on 27 January 2026 at The Peninsula Paris hotel.
Following a complete overhaul of the car, the Frenchman completed two demonstration laps at Fiorano before placing the car in the gym of his villa near Avignon, where it has remained on display for nearly four decades.
Unraced since leaving Maranello, the F92A retains its original 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine – capable of producing 750 bhp – as well as its original mechanical and electronic components.
