Alleged Poisoning of Nigerian Lady Sarah Aghahowa
Shock and anger have followed reports from Edo State that 20-year-old Sarah Aghahowa was allegedly poisoned by her stepmother after gaining admission to study Nursing.
Sarah had secured admission into the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor. The incident occurred on Thursday in Jemilla community, near Ramat Park along the Benin-Agbor Road in Benin City.
A viral video showed residents attempting to hold the alleged culprit accountable. Reports of the incident have spread across social media, with some users alleging that Sarah’s late mother faced similar persecution in the past.
