Rolex 24 Grid Expansion Not Possible Due to Pit Lane Space
IMSA President John Doonan stated that it's currently "not possible" to accommodate more cars for the Rolex 24 at Daytona due to pit lane limitations and paddock space at Daytona International Speedway.
"We only have so many spots on pit lane,"
Doonan confirmed that next year's WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season opener is likely to remain at a capacity 61-car grid, despite increasing interest from competitors.
