Lincoln Fire Marshal Facing Federal Child Porn Charges Surrenders State License
The Fire Marshal for the town of Lincoln, Rhode Island, has surrendered his health license after being charged with receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material.
Jeffrey Almond, 41, was indicted on charges including receipt of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor.
The U.S. Attorney’s office in Boston said he also allegedly engaged in sexually explicit chats with purported minors.
The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) announced that Almond has surrendered his health license in a consent decree.
